Guests can choose whether to stay and relax at the OAT Farm or to join in some of the following activities:

MONASTERIES (North).
We can arrange guided tours of these unique 15 century painted monasteries whose exterior paintings have survived for 500 years. The tour will include the monasteries of Voronet, Sucevita and Moldovita.


MONASTERIES (South).
Our guided tour will reveal to our guests the wonders of the monasteries at
Neamt, Agapia and Varatec.


GUIDED WALKS.
Your guide will take you on a day long excursion in the nearby beautiful
Carpathian Mountains.


FISHING.
An experienced guide will take you to either fish for carp and other course fish in lakes near to Falticeni or to fish for trout in the Carpathian Mountain streams.


HORSE AND CART RIDES.
Visit the nearby villages travelling in the traditional way by horse and cart.


CASTLES AND MUSEUMS.
Guests can be taken to visit the 14 century castle and its museum in Suceava or go to the fortress at Targu-Neamt.


WINERY AND VINYARD TOUR.
It is believed that vines have been grown at the former royal vineyards at Cotnari for more than 2000 years.


THE SALT MINES OF CACICA.
A guided tour of the village where visitors can see the famous underground salt mine with its underground chapel completely carved out of salt. The village is an excellent example of ecumenical harmony with Roman Catholics, Greek Catholics and Romanian Orthodox living side by side.



FARM TOUR.
A short tour of the farm can be arranged at no additional cost, where our guests can see our dairy herd, pigs and chickens.




INCLUSIVE TOUR.
This is a 5 day tour, returning to the OAT Farm each evening and is limited to a maximum of 8 people.
The tour will include visiting:
The monasteries of the north.
The monasteries of the south.
A guided mountain walk.
A visit to Cotnari vineyards.
A tour of Cacica ending with a barbeque with some of FARA’s children.
